An enforcement officer in Kelantan was detained by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today for allegedly accepting a RM14,000 bribe from a contractor.
The arrest took place around 1 p.m. at the state MACC headquarters. The officer is also suspected of receiving valuable items alongside cash.
Kelantan MACC director Rosli Husain confirmed the arrest, with charges to be filed under Section 165 of the Penal Code at the Sessions Court.
