Launched last December, the Cap Feri rice brand has helped 48,000 B40 individuals in Penang within three months, selling 16,000 bags and generating RM272,000 in revenue. Priced affordably at RM17 for 5kg, it aims to provide quality rice at lower costs. Sold exclusively at Agro Madani events, the rice often sells out quickly. The trial phase still relies on imported rice due to local shortages, with future monitoring planned if needed.
