An 11-year-old boy tragically drowned after falling into a river in Kota Aur, Kepala Batas. The Penang Fire Department received an alert at 7.24 pm and dispatched a rescue team, but the boy had already been pulled from the water by the public. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was handed over to the police.
