SINGAPORE — Amos Yee, a Singaporean convicted of child sex offences in the US, will remain behind bars for at least six more months after breaching his parole. Now held at Illinois’ Danville Correctional Centre, Yee’s earliest possible parole is November 7, 2025 — two years after his return to custody. Initially granted early release in 2023, he was reimprisoned a month later. His final release could range from three years to life, depending on parole board decisions. Yee, who moved to the US in 2016 and was granted asylum, remains on the US sex offender registry.
