SEPANG — The Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) is investigating four officers suspected of aiding foreign nationals in bypassing immigration checks at KLIA from January to April through a method known as “counter setting.” AKPS stressed it will not tolerate misconduct that threatens border security and will take strict legal and disciplinary action. During the same period, 25 foreigners from Vietnam, Cambodia, India, and Indonesia were detained for overstaying, with suspicions that their entry was approved via unlawful means. Monitoring and enforcement at KLIA will be further intensified.
