Oscar Piastri admitted to a "messy" practice day ahead of the Monaco GP, despite finishing second-fastest behind Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, who topped both Friday sessions. Piastri, who clipped the barriers in FP2, believes McLaren still has strong pace when things click. Ferrari impressed with Leclerc setting the fastest lap, narrowly beating Piastri by 0.038s, while teammate Lewis Hamilton followed closely in third. Though encouraged, Leclerc warned fans not to get overexcited just yet. With traffic and tight corners causing chaos for many, including Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly, drivers are bracing for a challenging Monaco weekend.
