KUALA LUMPUR — Malaysia’s Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin Rumsani have risen to world No. 1 in men’s doubles, according to the latest BWF rankings.
With 91,090 points, they overtook Denmark’s Kim Astrup-Anders Skaarup Rasmussen, becoming Malaysia’s first top-ranked pair since Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong in 2016.
The duo won the India Open in January but struggled afterward. They begin their Singapore Open campaign tomorrow (May 28) against Taiwan’s Lee Fang Chih-Lee Fang Jen.
Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik remain third in the world, while Malaysia Masters winners Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun rose to seventh.
