SEPANG — Police have completed their investigation into last month’s gas explosion in Putra Heights, Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan announced today.
The findings will be released once the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) completes its report on the gas pipe specimen, expected by the end of June.
Ground zero has been handed over to Petronas Gas Bhd for restoration. The exact cause of the blast remains unclear, pending DOSH’s final analysis. Excavation delays due to bad weather ended when the final pipe specimen was retrieved on May 8.
