A second suspect, William Duplessie, surrendered yesterday in the alleged kidnapping and torture of Italian bitcoin investor Michael Valentino Teofrasto Carturan in New York. This follows the Friday arrest of the first suspect, John Woeltz. Duplessie turned himself in and is expected to be charged with kidnapping and false imprisonment. The victim was allegedly held for two weeks in a Manhattan townhouse, where he was tortured to try and extort his Bitcoin password.
