A vibrant 76-meter mural at the Batu Gajah Correctional Centre celebrates inmate rehabilitation and draws inspiration from a famous mural painted by an inmate at the former Pudu Prison in the 1990s. Spanning 25 panels, the mural showcases the prison's history, rehabilitation programs, and reintegration efforts.Created by nine UiTM lecturers, four alumni, and 12 students, the mural is the first collaboration of its kind at a correctional facility. It aims to highlight the transformative power of second chances, much like the Pudu mural once did. The mural, completed in February 2025, is expected to last for at least five years and also serves as a new cultural and tourism landmark for Batu Gajah.

The project involved extensive research and collaboration with the Batu Gajah District Council, the Correctional Centre, and various agencies.
