Hackers used the account to send suspicious links, though no victims have reported losses. Authorities credited the minister’s team for promptly reporting the breach, preventing further harm.
The case, under Section 4(1) of the Computer Crimes Act 1997, highlights growing cybersecurity concerns. Police are working to trace the hacker’s location and urge the public to avoid suspicious links.
