KUALA LUMPUR — An express bus caught fire after colliding with a motorcycle near Kamunting on the North-South Expressway last night. All 28 passengers escaped unharmed.
The Perak Fire and Rescue Department responded promptly, controlling the fire by 10:15pm. The bus was nearly 90% destroyed. The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries and was sent to hospital.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and the collision.
