KUALA LUMPUR — A 17-year-old Form Five student was killed in a motorcycle-lorry collision on Jalan Parit Mahang, Jeram, Kuala Selangor, at 2.15pm yesterday.
Police said the student had just returned from extra classes and was on his way to drop off a friend when he crashed into a lorry turning into the road. He reportedly lost control and veered into the lorry's path.
The impact threw him onto the road, and he died at the scene from multiple injuries. His body was taken to Tanjong Karang Hospital for a post-mortem.
The lorry driver, 26, was unharmed. The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
