MANCHESTER — Manchester United have signed Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5 million after triggering his release clause. The 26-year-old joins on a five-year deal, with an option for an extra year, becoming United's first signing of the summer.
Cunha scored 15 Premier League goals this season and tallied 33 goals and 15 assists in 92 appearances for Wolves. The transfer sets a new record sale for Wolves, surpassing the £53 million deal for Matheus Nunes in 2023.
Cunha, who began his career at Swiss side Sion, previously played for RB Leipzig, Hertha BSC, and Atletico Madrid before moving to Wolves in 2022.
