Joseph (92) and Joyce (88) Ellwanger, a couple with a combined 180 years, have been activists since the 1960s, protesting civil rights and political issues. Despite their age, they continue to rally, recently protesting the FBI's arrest of Judge Hannah Dugan over immigration charges. Joseph, who marched with Martin Luther King Jr., and Joyce, who was jailed for anti-war activism, believe in the power of protest for change. They’re motivated by Trump’s right-wing agenda and are committed to supporting younger protesters. “We’ll do our part,” Joyce said, planning to protest again on June 14.
