A 14-year-old girl and her 70-year-old grandmother, both Chinese nationals, were injured during a home robbery in Gelang Patah on Sunday. The intruder, who fled empty-handed after a struggle, allegedly choked the teenager when they resisted.Police arrested a 33-year-old suspect with a criminal record within three hours in Tanjung Kupang. He is remanded until June 8 for investigation. Both victims received medical treatment.
