KUALA LUMPUR: Former Watford boss Xisco Munoz has been named as Johor Darul Ta'zim's new head coach for the 2025-26 M-League season.

The 45-year-old Spaniard, who won both La Liga and the UEFA Cup with Valencia in the 2003-04 season, also lifted the UEFA Super Cup with the Spanish giants in 2004.

Munoz made headlines as a manager when he guided Watford to promotion to the Premier League in 2021 after finishing second in the EFL Championship.
