Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain has donated RM5,000 to the Tabung Amanah Warisan Polis (TAWP), using the amount awarded by the court in his defamation case against blogger Wan Muhammad Azri, known as Papagomo.

This marks Razarudin’s second donation to the fund, bringing his total contribution to RM15,000. A mock cheque was handed to Bukit Aman’s Datuk Abdul Aziz Abdul Majid during a brief ceremony.

Razarudin said the donation supports TAWP’s efforts to help police personnel and their families in need.

The court had ordered Papagomo to pay RM5,000 in costs and issue a public apology across major platforms after breaching an injunction that barred him from defaming the IGP.

The case stemmed from a defamation suit filed in December 2023 involving statements that also mentioned Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
