WASHINGTON — Juventus kicked off their Club World Cup campaign in style, thrashing Al Ain 5-0 in Washington. Randal Kolo Muani and Francisco Conceicao each netted twice, while Kenan Yildiz added one as the Italian side topped Group G ahead of Manchester City.

Earlier in the day, Juventus visited the White House and met former US President Donald Trump, presenting him with a club jersey. A brief exchange about women in men’s football followed, with Juve’s general manager highlighting their strong women’s team.

On the pitch, Kolo Muani scored early and again in first-half stoppage time, while Conceicao’s brace came with a touch of luck via deflections. Yildiz added a third with a sharp finish, and Juve’s dominance continued despite a late disallowed goal for Al Ain.

Looking to bounce back from a trophyless Serie A season, Juventus are aiming for silverware in the U.S. this summer.
