KUALA LUMPUR — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim extended his condolences to Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg over the passing of his wife, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang, early this morning.
In a Facebook post, Anwar and his wife, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah, expressed their sorrow and prayers for the grieving family, saying, “Our thoughts are with Abang Jo and his family. May they stay strong during this difficult time.”
Juma’ani passed away at 3.34am at Normah Medical Center in Kuching. Her funeral will be held today at Masjid Jamek, Petra Jaya, followed by burial at the Semariang Muslim Cemetery.
