The MACC has completed its investigation into former prime minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob over alleged corruption and money laundering linked to the Keluarga Malaysia programme. The commission will file a forfeiture application for RM170 million reportedly seized during the probe. The case is now with the Deputy Public Prosecutor, who is expected to decide on further action within a month. No criminal charges have been filed yet, but MACC says the matter is of public interest. Ismail Sabri was previously summoned seven times to assist in the investigation.
