Prolintas COO fined RM100k for not reporting RM90k bribe

Prolintas COO Rostam Shahrif Tami was fined RM100,000 by the Sessions Court for failing to report a RM90,000 bribe he received in February 2023. He pleaded guilty to a lesser charge under the MACC Act after a representation was accepted by the Attorney-General’s Chambers. The bribe was linked to a contract awarded to Satunas Technologies. The court also ordered the forfeiture of nearly RM1 million in seized funds, luxury watches, and cars. Rostam also faces a separate charge for allegedly accepting a RM70,000 bribe related to the SUKE project.
