PARIS — French prosecutors have launched an investigation after Kylian Mbappe filed a legal complaint accusing Paris Saint-Germain of moral harassment.
The Real Madrid star claims PSG mistreated him at the start of the 2023–24 season, forcing him to train with unwanted players after he refused to sign a contract extension. He was also excluded from the club’s pre-season Asia tour and missed the season opener before eventually rejoining the squad.
Mbappe is also suing PSG for €55 million in unpaid wages and bonuses. The 26-year-old left the club last summer after scoring 256 goals in 308 appearances across seven seasons. Ironically, PSG won their first-ever Champions League title shortly after his departure.
