The 24-year-old Argentine midfielder, once under pressure from his £107 million price tag, has become Chelsea’s key playmaker under Enzo Maresca. He assisted twice in the 3-0 win over Esperance, following a goal in the 2-0 opener against LAFC, bringing his 2025 tally to 14 goal contributions—more than any teammate.
