Starting Monday, Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd will launch four new Rapid KL On-Demand zones: Kuala Lumpur CBD, UPM MRT–IOI City Mall, Kelana Jaya LRT–Taman SEA/Damansara Jaya, and Gombak LRT–Taman Selaseh/IIUM.

The CBD zone, covering Jalan Imbi, Jalan Sultan Ismail, and Jalan Raja Chulan, will be served by nine vans, easing last-mile travel in high-traffic areas. The service also targets major educational corridors to provide safer, flexible transport for students and staff.

Operating daily from 6 am to 11:30 pm via the Rapid On-Demand app, the service offers reserved seating at a promotional RM1 fare. Payments can be made via Touch ‘n Go and MyRapid cards. Full rollout of 300 vans is expected by July 2025.
