KUALA LUMPUR: Nilai City have withdrawn from the Malaysia Premier Futsal League (MPFL) Division 2 following a spate of internal issues.
FAM confirmed receiving Nilai City's official withdrawal letter on Saturday.
The club cited breaches of contracts by several key players who failed to report for training and matches as the main reason behind their decision.
Last week a video began circulating on social media showing Nilai City turning up for an MPFL match with just five players.
Nilai City's scheduled matches against USMKK FC and Kuala Lumpur 2 this weekend have been cancelled.
