TEHRAN — Iran has reopened its airspace, including Tehran’s Mehrabad and Imam Khomeini airports, after closing skies on June 13 during clashes with Israel, state media reported.
Flights at airports nationwide—except in Isfahan and Tabriz—are operating from 5am to 6pm, with services from the two cities to resume once infrastructure is ready.
Iran shut its skies last month amid Israeli airstrikes and retaliatory missile fire. Following the June 24 ceasefire, Iran had already reopened eastern airspace and expanded international overflights.
