KUALA LUMPUR — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged his Canadian counterpart Mark Carney to reconsider granting visa exemptions for Malaysians, similar to other Commonwealth nations, to boost ties and exchanges.
Anwar, currently on an official visit to Paris, conveyed his congratulations to Carney on his party’s recent election win during their conversation.
Currently, Malaysians must apply for a visa — including government, biometric, and VFS Global service fees — to visit, study, or work in Canada.
