A man and a woman, who were among four people arrested in connection with the murder of a 20-year-old university student in Cyberjaya last month, will be charged tomorrow.
Sepang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Norhizam Bahaman confirmed that the duo will be brought to the Sepang Court Complex in the morning.
"Two suspects, both in their early 20s, will be charged tomorrow under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder," he said.
The pair are among four people arrested within 48 hours of the discovery of the student's body on June 26, at a university apartment in CyberjayaEarlier, it was reported that the murder charge against the main suspect in the case had been temporarily postponed
Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan had said the police were awaiting further instructions from the Attorney-General's Chambers.It was also reported that the main suspect had allegedly spent the night there several times with his girlfriend prior to the incident.
Hussein was reported as saying that investigations revealed that the victim's housemate, who is also the suspect's girlfriend, had handed him the access card and keys to the condominium before the incident.
The suspect had used the access card and keys provided by his girlfriend, who had returned to her hometown after examinations.
