A security guard, Azman Mangola, 36, was fined RM5,000 or jailed two months for using a fake license plate to avoid car repossession after eight months of unpaid loans. He also pleaded guilty to driving without a license and uninsured, receiving a two-month jail term and a RM500 fine, respectively. The court banned him from obtaining a license for 12 months. Azman, supporting a family on RM1,500 monthly income, admitted guilt but was urged for a harsher sentence due to repeat offenses.
