The Pakistani man arrested in connection with a series of sodomy and molestation cases involving underage boys had fled to Kedah to hide in a rubber estate where his friend worked.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim confirmed this, adding that the suspect had gone into hiding three days ago at a rubber estate along Jalan Padang Sanai, Kuala Nerang, Kedah.
"His friend, a 43-year-old Pakistani man, works there as a rubber tapper.
"We have obtained a four-day remand order against both suspects," he said when contacted today.
