A fire broke out this afternoon at Sunshine Square shopping complex on Jalan Mayang Pasir, destroying about 40% of a storage area. No injuries were reported. Firefighters arrived within five minutes and extinguished the blaze by 3:01pm. The fire started in a ground-floor storage space beneath a stairwell. The Fire Investigation Unit is now examining the cause, with police assisting at the scene.
