Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin, chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), clarified that statements from other panel members about the privatisation of Malaysia Airport Holdings Berhad (MAHB) were personal opinions. She emphasized that the PAC plans to recall witnesses, as many questions remain unanswered. Mas Ermieyati also criticized the public disclosure of PAC proceedings, stating that all findings and documents are confidential under the House of Representatives' rules.

The PAC has held 16 hearings on MAHB's privatisation, with key figures like Finance Minister Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan, former MAHB CEO Raja Azmi Raja Nazuddin, and other financial leaders testifying.
