Victor Osimhen is in talks to join Galatasaray permanently after missing Napoli’s first day of pre-season training on Monday, citing a medical certificate. The Nigerian striker, a key part of Napoli’s 2023 Serie A title win, spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, scoring 26 goals in 30 games to help them clinch the Turkish Super Lig. Napoli, who recently signed Kevin De Bruyne, are holding out for at least €75 million as negotiations over payment terms continue. Coach Antonio Conte reportedly does not see the 26-year-old in his plans for next season.
