TNB's Time of Use Plan: Is It Right for You?
TNB’s new Time of Use (ToU) tariff offers cheaper electricity rates during off-peak hours (weekdays 10pm–2pm, all day on weekends) and higher rates during peak hours (weekdays 2pm–10pm).
If your household mainly uses electricity at night or on weekends, ToU could save you money. But if most of your usage falls during peak hours, you may end up paying more.
Eligible users with smart meters can apply via email or the myTNB app. Use the myTNB app or website calculator to track your usage and compare costs before switching.
