The White House confirmed Thursday that President Trump’s bruised hand and swollen legs are minor and not a sign of serious illness, dismissing online speculation.
Citing his doctor, officials said Trump has a common vein condition, chronic venous insufficiency, causing leg swelling, and bruising on his hand from frequent handshakes and aspirin use. Tests showed no signs of clots, heart, kidney, or systemic disease.
The condition is benign, manageable, and does not affect life expectancy. Trump remains in “excellent health,” the White House said.
