A 67-year-old durian farmer was found dead in his orchard at Kampung Bandar Tinggi, Jelebu, believed to have accidentally shot himself with a homemade firearm.
Police said the man went to his 2-hectare orchard alone yesterday morning and never returned. His body, with bloodstains, was discovered that night alongside a homemade wooden gun.
The case is classified as sudden death, and the body was sent to Rembau Hospital for post-mortem. Police urged the public not to speculate while investigations continue.
