JERUSALEM — Israel’s military said it intercepted a missile fired from Yemen on Tuesday, following airstrikes it carried out a day earlier on Yemen’s Houthi-controlled port of Hodeida. The Iran-backed Houthis have repeatedly targeted Israel with missiles and drones in solidarity with Palestinians amid the Gaza conflict.
