Kelantan police defended the Kemumin homestay raid, citing valid intelligence and public safety concerns. Around 100 people attended the private event, with 20 admitting to being part of the gay community. Three were fined for possessing same-sex pornographic content. Authorities also found condoms and HIV medication. The public was urged not to spread false information and to follow proper procedures when hosting events.
