A tragic fire in Kampung Sangkir, Kota Belud, early this morning took the lives of a married couple, Mamat @ Jamrin Sinti and Noorijah Rashid, both 47. Firefighters arrived at 2.52am to find the house fully engulfed in flames, along with a nearby car. The victims were found dead in the bathroom. The fire was brought under control by 3.22am, and the operation concluded at 4.55am. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the blaze.
