Tawau police have arrested four men linked to an armed riot involving the assault of a civil servant at a restaurant on Jalan St Patrick. The victim sustained facial injuries after being attacked by known individuals. Following a police report, suspects were tracked down and arrested in Kampung Pukat, Takada, and near the Tawau District Police HQ. Two suspects have prior criminal records. The case is being investigated under Section 148 of the Penal Code for armed rioting.
