Tabung Haji (TH) will soon implement a digital passport submission system to simplify preparations for Malaysian Haj pilgrims and reduce the need for in-person visits.

Deputy Minister Datuk Dr Zulkifli Hasan said this move is part of ongoing digital upgrades, which also include a digital medical record book and a Haj mobility app to ease pilgrim coordination during the pilgrimage.

He confirmed that all eligible Malaysian pilgrims successfully received their visas, despite some facing biometric registration issues due to technical glitches in the Saudi Visa Bio app. TH has addressed this through support guides, online resources, and in-person assistance.

Pilgrims aged 80 and above, and those with verifiable facial or fingerprint issues, are exempted from biometric scans.
