Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has denounced the humanitarian crisis in Gaza as an unacceptable crime, calling the blockade, starvation, and killings a stain on global conscience. In a televised address, he described the situation as the worst humanitarian disaster of our time and held Israel fully responsible for ongoing atrocities, labeling them war crimes.

Abbas urged an immediate and lasting ceasefire, the urgent entry of food and medical supplies, and the release of Palestinian tax revenues withheld by Israel. He appealed to the U.S. President to allow UN agencies to deliver aid and called on the global community to ensure hundreds of thousands of tons of humanitarian supplies reach Gaza.

Rejecting forced displacement, he demanded a full Israeli withdrawal and emphasized that Palestine must be allowed to govern Gaza, restore order, and begin rebuilding with Arab and international support.

Abbas also warned against Israel’s attempts to assert sovereignty over the West Bank, calling it a dangerous provocation that violates Palestinians’ right to an independent state. He reaffirmed that a sovereign Palestinian state will be achieved through unity, resilience, and legitimate rights.
