Malaysia’s top women’s doubles pair, Pearly Tan and M. Thinaah, have confirmed their participation in next week’s Hong Kong Open, ending speculation of a withdrawal after their World Championships silver in Paris. Despite a packed schedule of appreciation events, the world No. 2 duo have resumed training and are set to defend their title. Coach Rosman Razak confirmed their readiness, saying they’ll give it their all. Pearly-Thinaah are also targeting a rematch with world No. 1 Liu Sheng Shu-Tan Ning, the Chinese pair who beat them in the Paris final. Mixed doubles champs Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei, however, have withdrawn.
