Sabah floods displace 233 in Beaufort, evacuees rising

The number of flood victims in Beaufort has increased to 233 people from 69 families as of this morning, up from 199 people from 64 families yesterday. The Sabah Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) reported that all evacuees have been relocated to the Selagon Permanent Evacuation Centre (PPK) in Beaufort. The flooding began yesterday, prompting authorities to act swiftly in providing shelter and assistance to those affected. The situation remains closely monitored as the number of displaced residents continues to rise.
