China celebrated the 80th anniversary of its victory in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War with a grand military parade at Tian’anmen Square on September 3. President Xi Jinping reviewed the troops and reiterated China’s commitment to peaceful development amid global uncertainty. The event was attended by over 20 foreign leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korea’s Kim Jong-un. Also present were veterans and families of those who supported China’s WWII efforts. The commemorations emphasized unity, remembrance, and a vision for a more stable, peaceful future.
