SINGAPORE — A 47-year-old man already facing drug trafficking allegations has been slapped with fresh charges for possessing vape cartridges containing Class A controlled drugs, Channel News Asia (CNA) reported.
According to the report, Lim Heong Sheng allegedly had the vape cartridges, which contained methamphetamine and MDMB-4en-PINACA—a synthetic cannabinoid or designer drug—on Jan 16 this year at a parking lot in Jurong West Street 65.
Prosecutors also accused him of having other drugs on him at the same location, including a packet of cannabis, a packet of ketamine, and drug utensils.
Lim, who has been in remand since January 18, also faces other charges, including trafficking methamphetamine and illegally possessing ammunition.
CNA reported that he allegedly had a single 7.62mm hollow-point round in a laptop bag in the boot of his vehicle.
If convicted of possessing vape cartridges containing Class A controlled drugs, Lim could face up to 10 years in jail, a fine of up to S$20,000 (RM72,800), or both.
