Tottenham Hotspur head coach Thomas Frank is set to make his Champions League debut on Tuesday, continuing his rapid rise in European football. Praised by Pep Guardiola as a destined top-level manager, the Danish tactician took charge of Spurs in June after turning Brentford into a Premier League mainstay. Frank inherits a team that, despite a rocky league finish last season under Ange Postecoglou, qualified for Europe’s elite competition by winning the Europa League. The 51-year-old has made a strong start, guiding Spurs to three wins from four Premier League games, including an impressive 2-0 victory over Guardiola’s Manchester City.
