INCHEON — A fan attending K-pop group Seventeen’s concert in Incheon was left with burn injuries after fireworks used during the show fell into the audience.

According to a report by AsiaOne, the incident took place during the final segment of the concert on Saturday (September 13).

One injured fan later shared photos and an account of their ordeal on social media platform X, describing the injuries as “at least second-degree burns”.

“I was going to post pictures after the concert but I think an official notice was posted. It was really dangerous... the fireworks were shooting into the sky. My entire right arm is burning,” the fan wrote, thanking fellow concertgoers who helped extinguish the flames on their clothes.

The fan added that doctors warned the injuries could develop into third-degree burns and required further observation.

Videos of sparks flying into the stands began circulating online soon after the show ended, with many social media users expressing concern and urging organisers to take responsibility.
