A Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) employee in his 30s is feared drowned after strong floodwaters swept him off a bridge at Kampung Nuntunan Apin-apin, Keningau. The worker and two colleagues were attempting to cross a concrete bridge near a substation when sudden currents caused panic. While two managed to reach safety, the victim briefly held onto a rope before being carried away by the river. The Keningau Fire and Rescue team responded promptly following a distress call, deploying nine personnel and a fire engine to search for the missing man.
